Dude he's an alleged scammer. He states on his profile and product pages that he only uses direct payments outside the escrow system, yet all of a sudden he has feedback which means he has used the escrow system. It is highly likely that this feedback is not legit.
Vortexmilkman is more than welcome to come on here an refute these claims but so far he hasn't.

i tried to buy 4 bitcoins worth of coke, he sent the money bad and told me to check the prices.

Based on friend's experience: problematic transaction, but VM is "legit." There is "product" to be had. Details to follow somewhere on forum...

I have a feeling that ole VM's listings are coming to an end on the SR site.
Going outside of site rules and uses sites features doesnt mix good with the home team.
So unless he starts playing by the rules, i suggest those interested in him, log his contact info somewhere.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!! this guy sends nothing. he will cancel the order after 10 days. you're stuck with your loss of money, and no way to leave feedback. if you have an order, it AIN'T COMING!!. it cost me $325 to learn this. hit finalize now so you can leave negative feedback. . .you will lose the tiny bit you have in escrow, but this guy will be shown for what he is.

If you don't mind, could you outline what happened as I have been informed by other new users of the forum that he's legit. I'm skeptical that he's legit or at least a selective scammer.

sure. i ordered on a tuesday and sent $$ via moneygram. he notified me it shipped out wednesday. the next tuesday it had not arrived yet (it was supposed to go USPS priority), so i inquired about it's tracking and delivery, and he said don't worry, it is still in transit. thursday it still had not arrived, so i inquired again with no response. saturday i was notified it was cancelled on SR. i sent another message to him with no response. that's about it. i will never go outside the escrow service again.

Do NOT hit finalize to leave negative feedback, that will do nothing for you but loose your bitcoins.
It's quite clear that these orders can be cleared in the resolution center via SR overview to get your bitcoin returned to you.

Hey Nomad, what's happening is that VM is making the buyers purchase Shipping and Handling through escrow (about 1/10 of a bitcoin) and the rest sent directly to him out of escrow. That way he gets the feedback if he doesn't scam and can take keep the bulk of the payment if the package does not arrive (or doesn't get shipped.) He also is not listing any products at the moment.

Thanx rake it's been quite a busy weekend/holiday for Mr. Bloodbath and I will be in full gear earlier tomorrow morning not only going thru all forums threads but gonna through all listings and vendor on Silk Road that deal outside of the escrow system for so much as even shipping and they will all be reported directly to SR to furthur take action on as many of the scams that are going as I can I have no patience for the scammers no matter their method. If any type of currency is asked for on any profiles i come across, you will be reported, the Silk Road site is not for you go play somewhere else.
Leeching off of SR buyers is coming to an end if I have anything to do with it.
